ACADEMIC NIGHTS † Fourth Grade – Tuesday, September 15th at 6:30 PM in classrooms. † Third Grade – Thursday, September 17th at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria. † ADULTS only please.

POLITICS – If you find them interesting, consider serving as the PTA Legislative Chair! Your role will be to provide information about legislative issues affecting our mission as a PTA and drafting resolutions, if necessary. CHICK-FIL-A RESTAURANT NIGHT – Monday, Sept 14th, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM go to Chick-Fil-A (620 location only) for a quick dinner or snack and 15% percent of sales will benefit Fern Bluff PTA! E-CALENDAR – The school will no longer be sending home "hard copies" of our calendar. All events will be posted on our new Google calendar, which can be viewed on the Fern Bluff Elementary home page: http://schools.roundrockisd.org/fernbluff/

BLOG POLL – We asked, “What are you most excited for this year?” The results? 47% Learning new things, 35% After school activities, and 35% Structure for my child made the top three . . . Vote in this week’s online poll: “How do you most want to learn about what’s happening with our students and PTA?”

MATH PENTATHLON – Regular, weekly classes begin on Thursday, September 17th after school. There are just two spots open for new students. If interested, email Jennifer Banks jmbanks@austin.rr.com

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS – Mad Science, Karate, Drama Club, and Math Pentathlon programs all start next week. Be sure to notify your teacher that your child has permission to go directly to the program after school.
